Dr. Chris Bowe was born and raised in St. Louis, and has practiced Internal Medicine in South County for twenty-five years.

After receiving his degree at the University of Notre Dame, he graduated from the University of Missouri Medical School in Columbia, and then did his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa. A long-standing member of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Bowe met the requirements for attaining the status of Fellow. His practice places an emphasis on preventive medicine, geriatric care, and is geared toward unique patient-centered care. Dr. Bowe has been involved in numerous leadership activities at St. Anthony's Medical Center and has been active in Care Management and Quality Improvement.

In September, 2013, Dr. Bowe was named President of St. Anthony’s Physician Organization and received an additional honor by becoming the fourth member of the Office of the President of St. Anthony’s.

Dr. Bowe is married with four children. Community activities have included coaching youth and high school sports teams, Boy Scout leadership, and charitable work. He is currently on the Physicians Ambassadors Board for the St. Anthony's Charitable Foundation, and at a number of charitable events has done a stand-up comedy routine. Remember, laughter is the best medicine!

Dr. Victoria Jansen grew up in Belleville, Illinois. She attended St. Louis University where she played volleyball for the SLU Billikens Women’s Volleyball team, and graduated summa cum laude in 1993. Dr. Jansen then attended St. Louis University School of Medicine where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Medical Honor Society and graduated magna cum laude in 1997.

Dr. Jansen did her residency training in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at both St. Louis University Medical Center and Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. She received the Outstanding Resident in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics award upon completion in 2001. She has been practicing medicine for 12 years, and joined St. Anthony’s Physician Organization (SAPO) in 2008. Dr. Jansen was Chair of the St. Anthony’s Physician Quality Committee as well as past Co-Chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Subcommittee. She is a member of both the American College of Physicians and the American Association of Pediatrics.

Dr. Jansen enjoys travelling with her husband and three children, and coaches youth club volleyball. Both she and her husband also enjoy running and have participated in many 5k benefit runs and completed 2 half marathons!

Family Medicine, Board Certified

Dr.  Alan A. Padua has practiced family medicine at St. Anthony’s for three years, while also working as a hospitalist at the medical center.

After receiving two under-graduate degrees, he went on to receive his medical degree from St. Luke’s College of Medicine, Quezon City, Philippines.  He did his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Dr. Padua is currently a member of both The American Academy of Family Physicians and the Missouri State Medical Association.  His practice places an emphasis on preventative care.

Dr. Padua is married with three children, two sons and a daughter.  In addition to spending time with his family, Dr. Padua enjoys playing tennis.

On January 1, 2013, we warmly welcomed Dr. Padua to Bowe & Associates, knowing that his compassionate and caring attitude, combined with his love and passion for medicine, was the perfect fit for our practice.

Family Nurse Practitioner

Janice Meyer was born in Springfield, Missouri, and spent her high school years in Sitka, Alaska.  In 1981 she received a diploma from Burge School of Nursing in Springfield, Missouri; a BSN from the University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL) in December of 1985; and an MSN from UMSL in December of 1995.  

Janice has a primary care family nurse practitioner (FNP) accreditation through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, since February of 1996.  She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Missouri Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society.

Family Nurse Practitioner

Michele Yu was born and raised in St. Louis. She attended Truman State University, in Kirksville, Missouri, and graduated in 1999 with her BSN. She then attended the University of Missouri, St. Louis, and obtained her MSN in 2003, with an emphasis on family practice. She is Board Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has primarily practiced in the field of Internal Medicine.
